AdaptAbilities believes everyone deserves the chance to play, learn, and connect—regardless of ability. Since 2019, we’ve been committed to providing affordable, high-quality switch adapted toys and assistive devices for people of all ages.
Traditional toy manufacturers often overlook accessibility, and the few adapted toys on the market are typically sold at two to three times the retail price. On top of that, most are only designed for young children—leaving teens, adults, and older individuals with disabilities with few options.
We’re here to change that. AdaptAbilities offers a growing selection of switch adapted toys, assistive tools, and custom solutions—from early childhood through adulthood. Our mission is to ensure affordable, functional, and inclusive access to play and independence worldwide.
Our Story
From a Classroom Need to a Global Movement
AdaptAbilities began in a classroom—not a warehouse.
As a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) working in Texas public schools, I saw how hard it was for students with disabilities to get adapted toys and tools. When I searched online, I found overpriced products and limited options.
I decided to make them myself. I learned how to solder, started adapting toys by hand, and opened a small Etsy shop. That small beginning has now grown into a thriving mission that’s shipped to over 20 countries—from the U.S. to Spain, China, and Australia.
What hasn’t changed? The heart behind every order. I’m grateful to every customer who has shared their story, requested a custom toy, or returned again and again. We’re here because of you—and we’re growing because of you.

Hi, I’m Hannah—and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a licensed SLP, assistive technology specialist, and proud parent of two boys with disabilities. I started AdaptAbilities because I couldn’t find the accessible toys my students needed—so I made them myself. And as a disabled business owner and parent, this mission is deeply personal.
My goal is to make sure you never feel alone in your search for adaptive tools, accessible toys, or real support. Whether you’re a therapist, educator, caregiver, or self-advocate—I see you, I support you, and I’m here to help.
Outside of work, I’m usually reading self-help books, watching true crime documentaries, or spending time with my husband Grant and our two wild and wonderful boys.
